At the table

The question is on the TV: “Which heavyweight boxing champion retired undefeated in April 1956?” The room picks A, B or C. Then you read the line under the answer, “Who was the sports hero in your house when you were growing up?”, and hand it to the guest of honor first.

In Oct. 1956, the Navy plane ‘Que Sera Sera’ made the first-ever landing where?

The 3 games

  2. Which Came First: 50 questions in 5 rounds, A or B, each with a talk prompt. About 25 minutes

Why it works

You can host it without a pair of scissors. Every game can be read aloud from its Host Pack, the answer sheets print once, and the slide decks put every question on a television. That leaves you free to do the one job the guide gives the host: mix the generations into teams. Years and sayings were checked against published sources.

Made for: Family and friends planning a 70th birthday, at home or in a rented room.
