At the table

You call “The Church in the Wildwood” and read the line under it: “Pitts wrote it about an empty spot in Iowa; a church was later built there to match.” Buttons go down, and your first words have already told the room: “sing along if you know it.”

Newton wrote the words for a New Year’s Day service in his parish.

Why it works

The cards are 4 x 4 on purpose. Sixteen squares leave room to set a long title like “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” at 24 pt. And two players cannot finish the same line on one call: our software reads every card back out of the finished PDF and checks that all 100 differ and no two share a line.
