At the table

You read the question out: “What was the most popular name for baby girls born in America in 1966?” The room votes A, B or C. Then you read the line under the answer, “How did you get your name, and would you choose it again?”, and hand it to the guest of honor first.

What did nearly every prime-time network show switch to by fall 1966?

The 3 games

Why it works

You can host it without a pair of scissors: every game can be read aloud from its Host Pack, and the answer sheets print once.

The guest of honor is the expert on 1966, and everyone else gets a fair guess: three choices in the trivia, A or B in Which Came First, and sayings the whole room finishes out loud. Relatives who cannot be there can play along from a slide deck on a video call. Years and sayings were checked against published sources.

Made for: Friends, family and coworkers planning a 60th birthday, at home, in a rented room or at the office.
