Why it works

The planner lays the pack out as two pages a week, September into October, with a sentence to say before each one. Some of those sentences teach the room something. The one for Milkweed and Cattails: “Wartime children gathered milkweed floss for life vests.” Each grid is built by our own software, which checks that every word on the list is in it.
