At the table

The caller draws a calling card, says “SCARECROW” twice and holds the picture up for the room. Everyone with a scarecrow marks it. A full line across, down or corner to corner wins.

Why it works

Every square is a picture with its word under it, and the caller holds each picture up. So a guest who reads and a guest who does not read yet play the same card at the same table. All 46 cards are different, so no two players hold the same card. Original pictures made for this game: no clip art.
