Why it works

There are no points and no wrong answers, so the quiet end of the table votes as easily as the loud end. The paddles show the vote by shape and number, not by color, so they print in black ink. When a card lands well, a Talk About It prompt keeps the story going: “Which fall smell makes you feel at home?” Anyone may pass at any time.
